This is one of the reasons why I love Paris. Wondering where this is? Why it's the café in the Musee D'Orsay.
Fingers crossed* we'll be eating dinner here on Bastille Day - followed by a nighttime squizz at the Manet exhibition before wandering off to watch the Fireworks on the Eiffel Tower.
I know, sounds terrible - but someone's got to do it...
*Booking just confirmed - squeeeeeeeeee!
Oh wow, this is gorgeous. I've been there too + when the Musee D'Orsay came to Canberra last year. Oh to be so close to those paintings worth gazillions, you could almost reach out & touch them!! Have a beautiful day, love Posie
ReplyDeleteI can't think of anyone who deserves or will enjoy it more. I'll be squee-ing with you in spirit! xx
ReplyDeleteUtterly, utterly gorgeous! I can't wait to hear all about your adventures. Please take lots of pics!
ReplyDeleteOh the memories! I ate there in 2008. After adoring my idol Monet's paintings.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Looks gorgeous! Ate a lovely lunch at the Cafe in the National Museum in Brussels (Belgium), not quite as gorgeous, but had a similar style. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy some lovely food (& buy at least 1 pair of shoes!!!)
ReplyDeleteI think all cafes should be this gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh Posie, I know what you mean - it will be incredible.
ReplyDeleteThanks Corinne - I'm blogging my holiday so you'll get to share in it.
Thanks Jacki - can't wait to share it x
Oooh Vanessa, was it amazing?
TFI, okay, if you insist I WILL buy some shoes :) x
Veggie Mama, wouldn't it be lovely?
Ah - my favorite time spent in Paris September 2012.. we stunned the water [us silly American women] by asking not once but twice [mais oui!] for a bottle of champagne with our lunch. I suspect many come to just enjoy the atmosphere while ordering tea.
ReplyDeleteJ'adore. Fabulous. Must do on anyone's bucket list.
