Oh, the sky is just completely and utterly blue today and we're drenched in sunshine. After what felt like months of torrential downpours {but was really only about a week} it's so, so nice to see the sun. I'm also looking forward to seeing my gal alight from the bus after three days in Canberra. I'm sure she's had a ball, but boy, have I missed her.
I hope your weekend's filled with sunshine. Enjoy!
Isn't it great?! I know I'm a country gal and should be happy about all the rain, but it sure is nice to wake up and see the sun again :)
ReplyDeleteFirstly...sunshine....YAY!!! Going to take the dog & the 4yo to the park for lunch today. We all need some rays.
ReplyDeleteSecondly...loving your pics as always.
Thirdly...oh I am SO nervous about when the time comes for my boys to go away without me. They have never even had a sleep over yet, and the eldest is 9!!!
Enjoy your reunion and enjoy your weekend, hon.

We have a lovely blue sky here in Perth today as well, not sure how long for though.
ReplyDeleteHope your gal had the best time, I am sure she did and enjoy your weekend. xxx
I hope you have the bestest weekend too!!
ReplyDeleteI hope she survived the cold! Canberra has been freakin' freezing. (I say this as I sit fully clothed, with Ugg boots on OVER my socks and a dressing gown on OVER my jeans and sweater. Cold to the bone ...)
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should turn on a heater?
PS Pretty flowers :)
ReplyDeleteSuzi I'm with you - normally appreciative of rain, but oh, that sunshine...
ReplyDeleteJodie, thank you. My gal came back ecstatic and gave me the biggest hug. x
Thanks Kakka, she did. Loved every minute of it.
Lizeylou it's already been wonderful and we're only halfway through - right back at you lovely one x
