I think I always go back to a classic petal pink flower. I love a bunch of happy yellow blooms, can admire the simplicity of white, adore the dramatic richness of red, but really, if I had to choose one coloured flower for the rest of my life, well, it'd be pink {but I'd be sneaky and want all the shades on offer...}
You?
Yep, all shades of pink for me too. That's one gorgeous posy.
ReplyDeleteI love the classic blog title "I Used To Be Snow White But Then I Drifted", so it is with flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhite used to be the colour of choice for all my blooms but I'm drifting towards the pinky palette too.
One of my little goals for this year is to smell my first peony - can you believe I've never done this before?
Happy day!
xx Felicity
I love all flowers and a vase full of roses always does it for me but it is the yellow ones that I really like. Yellow is a colour, no matter if a car, a building, a flower or whatever that wakes me up and makes me feel oh so good. I also love yellow towels and sheets but these days they are hard to find as so many of those items seem to come in drab colours.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely Corinne!
ReplyDeleteOh Felicity, I have had many a bunch of peonies, but none have had a scent - I promise to sniff some while I'm on holidays though. I'm sure Peonies in Paris are perfumed!
Mimsie, you're so right. There's something just so lovely and happy about yellow isn't there!
