pop!
How fabulous is a pop of colour? I love how in the 50s every outfit was accessorised with a slash of scarlet lippy. Whenever I go out at night the last thing I do, even after a spritz of perfume, is apply a red lippy. It's the ultimate finishing touch for me.
Are you a lippy gal?
Do you like a pop of colour?
What's your must-have to feel-fab? Lippy? Perfume? Cute shoes? Do tell.
French word of the day: bouche (boosh) - mouth.

Um all of the above? I'm generally a nude coloured girl but ill use a slash of red on the odd occasion, depending on my mood!
ReplyDeleteActually yep, me too - all of the above, and a string of beads!
DeleteI love a little bold lip!
ReplyDeleteYou RAWK that bold lip lady!
DeleteI'm bold. Love a bit of dramatic colour. X
ReplyDeleteBold AND beautiful x
DeleteNo red for me (am yet to find the best red for my complexion), but do love a great burgundy or dark rose lippy for evenings and a good spritz of perfume.
ReplyDeleteDo love that pic.
Oooh, let me take you lippy shopping to find the perfect red!
DeleteWill not leave my house without a slash of lippy. My lip-of-choice is a deep pink called "Social Climber" more summer than autumn, clinging to warmth while I can.
ReplyDeleteThat lippy sounds fabulouso!
DeleteThe 1950s .... I was young then and remember it well and yes, it was a great time to be female. Lovely clothes, shoes and everything lovely. I've never been one for RED lipstick and now being older I favour a nice pink, but one that you can actually see. Perfume? I splash on 4711 or on special occasions a spray of Chanel No. 5.
ReplyDeleteOh Mimsie I LOVE 4711 - such a zingy, fabulous scent. And oh, lucky you to have been young in the 50s and have the memories. Chanel no 5 is one of my classic scents too. Love it.
DeleteCould always take or leave clothes, it's accessories for me! Jewellery in particular, but also handbags, shoes, or a lovely scarf and in winter I get to show off my beret collection :)
ReplyDeleteAlways perfume and I do like bold lippy (never lip gloss), got some great Chanel ones in Paris.
I'm with Mimsie, Chanel No. 5 for special occasions...and sometimes just because!!
However, my red bra or my purple undies (never both at once) make me feel very bold...and no one knows...did I share too much ;)
Great post as always, and fab picture!
Nobody rocks a scarf or a beret like you Cathy! Tres fabulous.
DeleteAnd yep, I love my gorgeous Dita Von Teese underwear under normal clothing - red bra = happy me x
