Woo hoo, ticking off so many things from my #52NewThings list this year - including the latest: start a book club. Last night, on Twitter, conversation turned to books, and then bookclubs and bam, before you know it a bunch of us are putting our hands up for a book club.
Hurrah.
French word of the day: biblioteque: library. Let's hope I get to read a few of the books in my library above...

DeleteWonderful idea. I have always loved books. Wish the young of today spent more time reading...just plain reading instead of using all those modern technological gizmos. Has been suggested we use what I think is called a kindle (?) but there is nothing like the feel of a proper book in one's hands.
ReplyDeleteI'm an old-fashioned booklover (as my bookshelf above shows). I've passed this love onto my daughter who's also a big reader.
DeleteWe are part of a book club and it's fantastic, we get together drink wine and discuss which ever book we have been reading. At Xmas time we do a secret Santa with books as gifts. Enjoy xT
