sweet scents

My darling sister-in-law, who lives far-too-far-away from me in London, bought me the most divine Peony candle and homespray from The White Company for Christmas (I know - spoiled!) So as I'm sitting at my desk, waiting on a conference call, and for the turf men to finally arrive (yep, they didn't come yesterday, are meant to come today...) I've spritzed my study with this delicious scent and am already feeling calmer and more inspired.

    I need some new room sprays and candles. Badly. I also need to order a new bottle of one of my fave perfumes. I did just get L'Occitane's Cherry Blossom line of bath products and am deeply in love with them. DEEPLY.

    Oh, now Cherry Blossom and L'Occitane are two of my favourite combinations. I'm lucky to have a room spray for every room at the moment (well, the main rooms). Since I started my new rule of spraying a room when I finished cleaning it, I've used a lot less of the stuff...

    I confess to loving the highly un-lovely packaging of the Bosistos lavendar spray. All essential oils. Smells divine. Looks like dunny spray, though.

    I have a linen spray that I'm currently in love with right now- lavender sandlewood. I spray it on the pillows right after my night time bath and when I'm ready to close my eyes, the scent lulls me into an even dreamier state of consciousness. I saw some new linen sprays I'd like to try for the living room- vanilla grapefruit. Somehow it sounds delightful. The L'Occitane Cherry Blossom lines is truly magnifique, dearest.
