a gardener's life

Busy morning this morning. Netball game followed by lunch with my in-laws and now we're doing a spot of gardening. Darling husband is out shifting sandstone blocks in the side yard and I'm watering the trees in the backyard and then plan on getting a bit stinky by adding manure to the roses.

The day is utterly glorious - it's a shame not to enjoy it.

  1. Last Monday I thought of you as we drove through Merewether and on to Highfields to visit friends.

Is it a little weird to drive along looking at the houses thinking: "Hmmm, wonder if PPMJ is behind one of those doors..."? Lol.

  2. I wish I was more of a gardener, although I think the reason I am not is because I just don't have the time... I love being outside and I love anything natural... maybe one day I will take the challenge? For now I hire someone...

  3. Divine image, PPMJ. I love a spot of gardening myself. I must confess, however, that I'm interviewing gardeners ATM because it's just not getting done. I really want a lovely garden this summer and I need some help...
