There's just something about that little blue box isn't there? Tiffany is a brand that I'll always adore. And now, guess what? They've added a new precious metal to their range - Rubedo {or, as I read on French Vogue Le nouveau métal précieux de Tiffany & Co.}
I adore rose gold. My wedding band's rose gold, and I think any special jewellery I've received since I was 18 is rose gold.
Hmmm, can you imagine the prettiness of popping open a Tiffany blue box to discover rose gold inside?
I've never received a little blue box, although I have given one and it was excitedly received. I love rose gold too, although I don't own any. My mother has her grandmothers large link padlock bracelet that is over 100 years old and it is rose gold and is just beautiful, which is part of the reason I like rose gold, it's a bit sentimental to me.

Wearing my "Please Return to Tiffany & Co. New York" Sterling Silver thick chain necklace today. I loved getting the blue box - have kept it. I have the matching bracelet, but don't often wear it. Both were gifts from my ex-husband, many years ago, so a bit bitter-sweet!!
ReplyDeleteI'm such a jewellery loser that I didn't even know Tiffany packs their little beauties in blue boxes. Oh well. But just wanted to say that I love rose gold, my granny has a thick ring in rose gold so probably sentimental like Alliecat. Have just had myself a ring made in rose gold by Style Rocks, and I'm wearing it every day. My pressie from hubby for my birthday, sort of.. well, he paid anyway!
