summery sunday
If there's a flower that reminds me of summer it's petunias. While Frangipani are the obvious symbol, I remember my nana digging up the pansy beds and replacing them with petunias, so, for me, it's petunias all the way.
These purple pretties are currently providing a pop of colour on my back veranda and making me smile every time I walk out the back door.
What is your summer flower?
French word of the Day: floraison - flowering.

Currently have two tubs of petunias flowering out the back, for frangipani are my summer flowers and we have so many trees in flower now I'm in heaven.
ReplyDeleteWe usually have several hanging baskets with petunias on our front verandah but this year I've requested portulacas and am hoping this really hot weather won't kill them. We have always loved petunias and there are so many beautiful colours available now. Those purple petunias of yours are a sheer delight.
