It's an utterly glorious day out there today - not that we've seen it yet, been too busy cooking up crispy bacon, yummy eggs and making bowls of coffee. Yep, it's been a relaxing father's day in this neck of the woods. I'll meander off to the Farmer's Market soon. Husband's requested tart tartin for father's day dinner tonight.. Best buy some yummy apples! And some meat for the main too!

ReplyDeleteYes we had a lovely Father's Day Sunday visiting daughter and son-in-law for a/tea. (Check our her story about Max). Sat out in their very nice back garden enjoying coffee and either a chocolate eclair or apple turnover and cream. Well you have to be naughty on certain special days of the year don't you? Today we have spring showers but in Perth we don't mind as we sorely need more and more rain. Hope the promised thunderstorms don't eventuate...just rain please.
