Wow, welcome to 2013! And, to start it off, I'm premiering my first French Word of the Day:
Nouveau (nuvo) adj: meaning new.
This is the perfect word to start off le nouvel an (the new year) don't you think? And, to accompany it, here's a pic from the Verdon Gorge in Provence - quite possibly one of the most beautiful things I have ever, ever seen.
Today will be spent relaxing; in the pool, by the pool, on the pool... and then back to work tomorrow.

That is one beautiful picture. I've never been to France (MOH did when he was young) but I have seen very beautiful scenes similar to that one in New Zealand. I just love mountains and rivers and nature in general.

DeleteNew Zealand is truly worth a visit. We had two wonderful holidays over there in the early 1980s...one a bus tour and the other drive and stay in cottages etc which was by far the best of the two trips. I agree with you about how wonderful nature is and how generous with her beauty. x
